What is Movement Therapy?

Movement Therapy is 1:1 whole-body rehab that accelerates your return to confident full-range movement.

If your ability to train has been limited due to injury, surgery or childbirth, Movement Therapy guides you back to an aligned, powerful body that moves with control and ease.

The goal is to treat the cause, not the symptoms, restoring optimal movement and lasting change.

Return to doing what you love

Who can it help?

  • Whether you're recovering from a sports injury, orthopedic surgery, or dealing with ongoing pain, Movement Therapy helps you return to doing what you love by re-educating the brain-to-body (neurokinetic) patterns that guide movement.

Often, the way your body adapts in the short term — to protect or compensate — can shape how it moves in the long term. By learning to recondition those patterns, you can regain strength, restore function, and support long-term ability.

Sessions will assess your movement and work to:

    • Release and reactivate inhibited muscles

    • Reconnect the core

    • Safely restore joint control and range

    • Rebuild functional strength

    • Reduce compensation and risk of re-injury

  • Your body is miracle creating — it’s beautiful, resilient and doing such a tough job. Whether you are a new mum, or 10 years postpartum, your body needs care, healing and love.

Movement Therapy supports you to rebuild or maintain strength, empowering your body at any stage of pregnancy or postpartum.

    Sessions will focus on:

    • Core and pelvic floor connection

    • Safe strengthening for pregnancy or postpartum

    • Healing the abdominals and diastasis recti

    • Correcting postural changes

    • Feeling able in your body’s daily requirements

  • In group classes, it can be hard to tell if you're truly moving well. These 1:1 sessions offer a chance to go deeper into your practice — refining technique, improving alignment, and focusing on the details that often get missed.

Or, if you're ready, they can push your practice to the next level, challenging your capacity to grow and improve.

Session focus is guided by you, from:

    • Core and stabiliser muscle engagement

    • Identifying compensations or imbalances

    • Finding power in key poses or movements

    • Building body awareness & movement habits
